A wedding ceremony is a personal expression of you- plural. While
traditions certainly exist, no steadfast rule states that these traditions
must be adhered to. At Bella Musica we strive to work with every
client to capture the spirit and panache of the day through musical
expression. The following suggestions should be viewed simply as a starting
point for the process of choosing your ceremony music. In general, the first
piece of music listed in each section corresponds to the outline of a
traditional or religious (Christian) wedding ceremony. Bella Musica
is able to accomodate music for many other faiths and traditions, many of
which have specific musical requirements not outlined below. Whether your

Jewish Ceremony music selections are among some of the most beautiful
melodies composed. Depending upon your traditions and synogogue many of the
perennial favorites, such as Canon in D (Pachelbel), Bach's Air on the G-String
and Purcell's Trumpet Voluntary (also known as the Prince of Denmark march) will
often be used for entrances. The traditional ceremonial processionals for the
bride include:

It is generally considered in bad taste to use the "Bridal Chorus" (Here
Comes The Bride) as a processional at a Jewish wedding ceremony, since it was
composed by Richard Wagner, a National Socialist sympathizer in Germany in the
1880's.
